  • Group receives NSF LEAPS-MPS grant to study the mechanism of NHSG mineralization

Group receives NSF LEAPS-MPS grant to study the mechanism of NHSG mineralization

Our lab has been awarded a $250,000 grant from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) through the LEAPS-MPS program.

This funding will support our research aimed at elucidating the mechanism of non-hydrolytic sol-gel (NHSG) mineralization of cellulose and exploring its compatibility with other natural materials.

We are incredibly grateful to the NSF for this support as we dive into this exciting project!
